Welcome to my Studio.
If you have never been in an Art Studio it is a very fun place to be. The creativity flows and life is good. You can loose all track of time here. Sun up to sun down it is a place that can be a whole world unto itself.
What's so great about making art? Well let me tell you the fulfillmant of finishing a piece of art is one of the most satisfying and accomplished feelings. Art in me is expressed in the form of my creativity. Whether it be through paint, camera or computer it all has the ability to make my life crazy at times and just plane busy at other times, but it is always fullfilling. It makes me feel I have accomplished a goal that has been put in place. New goals, new hope!
Sharing what I have created is the other half of this marvelous way of life. Seeing how a piece can touch another person is as addicting as the art itself .
What do I paint or create? I use various mediums along with my camera and computer. When I paint using acrylics or oils I use larger canvases.
I use watercolors for a certain look or feel of what I want to paint. It can be a very delicate medium to use. I appreciate the ease of watercolors.
They flow and move in a way that gets results like no other medium.
I use pencil mainly for portraits. They have a very defined result and it has to be perfect. I work alot on the blending and the final look.
When I was about 8 years old I just loved to color. Each charactor in a coloring book had to look just as they did on my favorite
cartoon shows. Barney and Fred were always a challenge to get just right.
It charged me up then and it charges me up now to make cartoons and graphics. Equal to that is
using Photo Shop to make the charactors look as real as desired.
Drawing gives me the outlet to express myself and the way I feel at times. Such as the one of 
"Heavy Wings". This is how it is sometimes.
For photography, I usually make a day of shooting. Exploring the world through the eye of a camera is fantastic. Using a telephoto lens is heaven. Taking photos of babies is my favorite. I love babies. They have a remarkable way of pulling at you. Just looking into a babies eyes, you can capture such feeling and expression in one photograph.
Finally, last but not least is the computer. Photo Shop is such the rage right now it is hard not to join in and I have with both feet. Working in Photo Shop allows me to accomplish so much in so little time. Using photos I have just taken and uploading them to my computer is so exciting. Making photos and images is just another way of creating a finished piece. Very satisfying. Some times you get mistakes that can be better than what you were trying to achieve.
Art is a passion to me. Art is a part of me. It is who I am. I love to share what I have created with you. I want you to be happy too...
